“A Must For Pet Groomers”

I am a pet groomer and thee are my absolute preferred clippers. Since I ordered my first group 3 years before, I have stopped using all others and I have had andis, oster and laube. I have heard folks say they operate loud . Mine are not loud at all and this is my third set. The battery life puts me during a day though I maintain a #10 on one set and so my main cutting together with the other so I use both pairs a day. In addition, I have my own home call grooming business I do on the side (aside from my store) and the ease of not needing to obtain an outlet or battle with strings makes my day so much simpler. I am a pet groomer of 25 decades and do about 10 dogs a day. These last me daily. I couldn’t live without them. Highly recommend

“Highly Recommend”

I am so glad I found this on sale. Andis was my clipper for a long time, and that I didnt trust Oster clippers anymore. Too thick, too slow etc.. However, this cordless issue is wonderful. I groom about 8 puppies a day, and sometime during the middle or second half of the day that I shall put it to the charger, so it doesnt run out of electricity right at the conclusion. It runs full speed until its empty, after which it quits. No slowdown before then, which is great. It doesnt operate as quickly as the Andis, however it does great work. I can strip the most horribly matted dogs onto it, no problem. It weighs less, therefore wrist fatigue really is reduced, such as the ad says. I strongly suggest it to anybody searching for a cordless clipper. I have a cordless Wahl Bravura that has its place, but being able to use all of my regular blades on the Volt is a clear plus.

“A Little Louder Than My Andis Agc But So Very Nice Not Worrying About Cords”

I groom 6-8 dogs every day, 5 days a week and am getting tired of wasting time playing all the clipper cord on my trusty Andis AGCs. I decided to take the plunge to the cordless clipper world and am very pleased. I havent had any troubles running from power during the day with a single battery as long as I place the clippers on the charger between puppies. I experimented and managed to groom 3.5 smaller dogs without charging in between until the battery died. The Volt is well balanced and that I notice a lot less hand fatigue after a long day. They’re a bit louder than the Andis using a slower engine but cut just too after a little exercise. I was having to change my blade drive on the Andis almost every month. The Volt merely needs the lever altered out once a year and after a few months of use I see a tiny little wear on it. I did need to correct some of my blades to match the Volt but after a little tweaking they worked flawlessly. Because of the slower engine the blades dont get as sexy as fast so I am able to clip more hair before shifting them off.I do plan on purchasing another battery in the future to have a back up. I read recommendations to prime the battery by charging all of the way first, then releasing all the way. Others also have recommended releasing the battery completely before recharging but using only one battery at the moment its somewhat inconvenient. The clippers are just as powerful before the battery runs out so it’s difficult to tell just how much charge it has left before it just stops working.I love my new clippers and co-workers are also thinking about purchasing a pair in the near future. I don’t have any plans on moving back to corded clippers and am hooked on my Volt.
